About
The first Women’s Leadership Summit (WLS) took place on November 9, 2011, and was originally titled “Women Take Charge: Building Leadership”. Over the last 16 years, the WLS has evolved into what it is today.
The TCNJ School of Business Women’s Leadership Summit gathers women from all walks of life—from the classroom to the boardroom and everywhere in between. The Summit is not just for those seeking a corner office; it’s for anyone ready to build strategic connections and master skills that resonate in both professional and personal spheres. Join our ever-evolving community to gain the tools you need to lead with confidence, no matter where you are in your career or life.
The Summit is designed to inspire, connect, and elevate women through powerful discussions, networking opportunities, and insights from leading professionals. The summit features inspirational keynotes, networking opportunities, interactive workshops and breakout sessions on topics like emotional intelligence, self-empowerment, and imposter syndrome. A notable tradition of the Summit is featuring keynote speakers who are authors and providing attendees with a copy of their book.
Previous keynote speakers have included:
- Dr. Natalie Nixon, author, creativity strategist, and CEO of Figure8Thinking
- Sylvia Baffour, renowned speaker & emotional intelligence expert
- Dima Ghawi, Executive Coach
- Michele Meyer-Shipp, CEO of Dress for Success
- Dr. Valerie Young, Co-Founder of the Imposter Syndrome Institute
- Tiffany Dufu, Chief Leadership Office at Levo
