Aaron Conyer ’19 recently graduated from TCNJ with a BA in Philosophy and minors in Business and Society and Pre-Law. Currently, Conyer is preparing his application for various joint degree JD/MBA programs.
Conyer credits Dr. Lasher, Professor of Marketing and Interdisciplinary Business for helping to cultivate his interest in and knowledge of the interactions between law and business. With her encouragement, Conyer submitted a paper to a student competition, where he was then selected as a finalist. Now, Conyer is preparing to compete in the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB) conference, where he will be presenting research, co-conducted with Dr. Lasher, on the Dodd-Frank Act and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. “I will be speaking about the status of CFPB throughout the current presidential administration and the impact of regulation on consumer finance protection,” Conyer said. “I am very excited to present my research especially because it will be great to experience Montreal as my first international trip.”
