What do you hope to get out of being a mentor this year?

Not only do I hope to grow personally, but also see the freshman grow out of their shell as the year progresses. Having the opportunity to be able to connect and radiate energy to the freshman about not only the School of Business but also the college experience is a very rewarding part of the program!

What’s something you love about TCNJ/School of Business?

I love the people, friends, and overall tight-knit community that is established with the School of Business and TCNJ. The amount of resources and support that is given ensures that everyone has an opportunity to succeed professionally and personally.

What’s a piece of advice you have for incoming freshman?

Put yourself out there and get out of your comfort zone; sometimes it takes getting uncomfortable to get comfortable so put yourself out there. Join clubs and get involved, and also remember that the college experience looks different for everyone, learn to take risks and have fun with this new chapter.
