What do you hope to get out of being a mentor this year?
All though I won’t be a mentor this year, being on the Executive Board I hope to further expand upon our sessions in Business 99 and continue to make our program the best across all of the schools. Being able to give back what I’ve learned from previous mentors and my time at TCNJ through the Business 99 program is the least I could do for everything this school has given me.
What’s something you love about TCNJ/School of Business?
I love that the business school has such a tight-knit community and professors who are willing to go above and beyond to give you the help you need. The relationships that I’ve made with some of my professors are ones that I know will be of use to me in my professional career. Furthermore, the connections I have made in the business school have gifted me with some of the greatest friends and allow for myself and my peers to be successful throughout our time at the college.
What’s a piece of advice you have for incoming freshman?
The biggest piece of advice I could offer to an incoming freshman is to put yourself in uncomfortable situations frequently. Challenging yourself is only going to enhance your growth here at the college and mold you into becoming a strong professional in the future.
