Accounting Behavioral Research
Professor Ahlawat has published articles in several journals, including Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Advances in Accounting Behavioral Research, the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, the International Journal of Technology Management, and the Journal of American Academy of Business.
Fullbright Scholar Grant
Professor Ahlawat was awarded a Fulbright Scholar Grant to lecture and conduct research at University College Dublin in Ireland during the fall semester of 2008.
She taught a graduate level course in managerial accounting and was instrumental in developing a course in Accounting Information Systems. Her research was focused on issues related to the convergence of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
