Marketing alumna Reagan Heidelberg ’01 leads the sales team at Tru Fragrance & Beauty as the Executive Vice President of Category Development. In this role, Heidelberg partners with retailers like American Eagle, Anthropologie, Old Navy, and Urban Outfitters. Heidelberg joined the Tru Fragrance team after her time at L’Oreal Paris, where she worked for almost nine years since graduating from TCNJ. Now with over seven years at Tru Fragrance, Heidelberg has taken on the additional role of Chief Talent Officer. Through this role, Heidelberg seeks out new talent to join the growing team while supporting the professional and personal developments of current employees.
“I was inspired and motivated by my classmates and professors at TCNJ on a daily basis,” said Heidleberg. “They taught me so much. After TCNJ, I decided to make it a priority to find that type of environment in any employment situation I considered – and it has served me well.”
She is married to Matthew Hedelberg ’01, and has three children, a 5-year-old and 2-year-old twins.
Reagan Heidelberg’s advice to current students: Take a chance. Don’t be afraid to try something out only to have it fail. Skinning your knee is expected and you will learn so much. Be a sponge!
