Emily Skalko ’14 graduated from TCNJ with a BS in Marketing and has since become associate client manager for Nielsen. Emily’s career path began during her junior year when she took a supply chain co-op with Johnson & Johnson. From there, Emily took a job with News America Marketing at their New York City headquarters where she worked with consumer packaged good companies like Campbell’s, Colgate Palmolive and Unilever selling in-store advertising and coupon space in the Sunday coupon book (FSI). After this, Emily worked with IRI’s Liquid Data analytics system where she got her “first taste of data analytics and market research.” Finally, in 2015, Emily joined Nielsen on their Church & Dwight account assisting brand managers on diagnosing their business in the market place by assessing consumption data. Emily thanks the School of Business for their experiential opportunities, as well as her professors for encouraging her to try something new and accept the co-op with Johnson & Johnson. Emily is a newly appointed member of the Dean’s Advisory Council.
