Geraldine Quintero ’16 is the NJ Clean Energy Program Administrator with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration—Marketing, Quintero spearheaded the development of communication materials for New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program. She also oversaw a marketing outreach plan that increased the visibility of the program and encouraged NJ residents, business, and municipalities to enact better energy-saving practices.
When asked how TCNJ’s education helped bring her success, Quintero cited the School of Business’s holistic approach to education: “TCNJ is so special because the education students receive through the School of Business goes beyond theory and textbook. Flexibility, taking ownership and the importance of nonverbal communication are just a few of the skills I perfected during my time at TCNJ.”
Quintero encourages students to step outside of their comfort zones and maximize their interactions with a diverse group of peers and mentors. “Join that club, go to that meeting, and meet with that professor.”
Quintero plans on returning to TCNJ to complete her MBA.
