Based in Clifton, NJ, Juhair Khan is a vice president at J.P. Morgan. Khan graduated from TCNJ in 2012 with a degree in Business Management, then went on to receive various industry-level education certifications.
Beginning in 2012, a summer internship at Bank of America Merrill Lynch led Khan to explore how large the retirement sales industry is. The internship, known as the GWIM Summer Associate Program, offered many opportunities for a career. “I was an analyst for the retirement group for the first 2 years. After that, I was promoted to the sales team, where I worked with Merrill Lynch Advisors,” said Khan. “After 3 years in the sales team I had an opportunity to join JP Morgan for their newly created retirement group, which is where I am now.”
He advises students to “do as many internships as possible to learn about different business industries.”
Reflecting on his time at TCNJ, Khan made special mention of an entrepreneurship course that inspired him to, one day, start his own business.
“TCNJ opened up opportunities for me due to the prestigious education it provided me, and the campus recruiting opened up the doors to my current career. Huge thank you to the career center at TCNJ”
While his office was 100% working remotely, the team is now in the office Monday and Tuesday and working remotely the rest of the week.
In his free time, Khan enjoys working out, biking, traveling the world, playing video games, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
