Mary Beth Constantino ’09 graduated from TCNJ with a BS in Accounting and now works as senior manager of Financial Compliance, Walmart Chile. During a 2-year mobility program with Deloitte in Santiago, Chile, Mary Beth began working on a project with Walmart International. Soon after, she accepted an offer from Walmart International in their Internal Control and Financial Compliance group. “I have very much enjoyed my time at Walmart, where I have been implementing and reviewing accounting standards and leading their SOX and Internal Control program.” Mary Beth also earned her CPA license and IFRS certification. She attributes her accomplishments to the education and leadership opportunities she received at the School of Business, as well as resume and interview assistance.
Advice to students: “Take advantage of leadership activities, networking, and internships. Don’t be afraid to do something different or get out of your comfort zone!”
Fun fact: Mary Beth is the captain of the three-time champions of Santiago’s mixed softball league. Also, she met her husband on the Student Finance Board at TCNJ; they married this past summer.
