Joy Wendelken graduated TCNJ in 2002 with a degree in marketing. With 10 years of experience in digital marketing and 6 years in digital analytics, she is currently Digital Analytics Manager, North America at Johnson & Johnson, and part of the Digital Center of Excellence. She oversees the process of implementing analytics on over 600 consumer websites; training marketers on Adobe Analytics, a digital analytics tool; and managing website A/B tests (aka split testing – comparing two versions of a web page for performance testing.)
Ms. Wendelken recently returned to TCNJ for a 3rd Thursday Alumni Panel on Digital Analytics, breaking down the definition in laymen’s terms with a quote from the international expert Avinash Kaushik:
“Digital analytics is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data from your business and the competition to drive a continual improvement of the online experience that your customers and potential customers have which translates to your desired outcomes (both online and offline).”
