Two economics students, Jash Patel and Steven Pittaro, presented at the Eastern Economic Association’s 45th Annual Conference in New York City. Pittaro presented his research, “The Effect of Income Inequality on HIV/AIDS Incidence Rates,” and Patel presented, “How Gender, Culture, and Anonymity Impact Online Consumer Reviews.” Economics professors Subarna Samanta and Linghui Tang served as faculty advisors for their research.
