The finance department has kept up close ties with several alums who have taught courses for us this past year. They include, but are not limited to Catherine Bernard ’84 (Manutti), Joseph Haddock ’97, David Johnston ’96, Nicola Lasky ’00 (Yap), Michael Lavelle ’06, Todd Povlich ’03, and Eric Szabo ’97.
Dr. Tom Patrick has developed a new half course on Hedge Funds / Private Equity. This would not have happened if it were not for much valuable assistance from finance alumnus David Sgro ’98.
Two of our finance alumni are partners at Big 4 accounting firms, Curt Monday ’01 at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Martin Mazin at KPMG. Both of these alums have made TCNJ finance majors part of their target schools. They also each make annual presentations in Dr. Patrick’s business valuation class.
The Finance department is currently in the exploratory stage of considering a financial planning track. They are being assisted in this process by David Townsend.
