At the Annual Faculty/Librarian Recognition Award Ceremony held on February 15, 2024, Dr. John McCarty, Department Chair of Marketing and Interdisciplinary Business, was awarded the Excellence in Student Mentoring and Advising Award. This award recognizes an individual who demonstrated excellence in the mentorship and advising of undergraduate students to be successful in their field. Dr. Abdus Shahid, Professor of Accounting, presented the award.
