As a senior director for Siemens Global Services, Amedeo Guarraci ’04 averages six international trips a month making travel a necessary passion. “My experience standardizing services for different regions led me to my current role in which I am the Head of our Shared Services Delivery Center in Costa Rica,” said Guarraci. “With my team in Mexico City, I am responsible for just about 100 people today, (and they are) providing a variety of internal services, mostly in HR operations to Siemens throughout the Americas.”
Guarraci credits the comprehensiveness of his major, business administration, which comprised all aspects of the School of Business. Guarraci also notes the importance of networking and building relationships.
Amedeo Guarraci’s advice to current students: Focus on the things that get you energized, then find people and communities that give you that same energy and provide opportunities to do what you like whether its help people or make art or laugh.
