The College of New Jersey’s Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) student chapter won 1st place at the AT&T National Sales Competition at AT&T Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The team placed above thirty other competing schools in the competition. The students were all afforded job offers along with monetary prizes.
“I’m so proud of the TCNJ students who participated in the AT&T National Sales Competition. When the university participants to the competition were announced, it included several large well-known universities that have a record of successfully competing and winning in sales and marketing competitions,” said Dr. Aniefre Eddie Inyang, Assistant Professor of Marketing, and PSE advisor. “However, our TCNJ students were unfazed by the competition. They were determined to win, they practiced hard, and in the end came out on top. It brought a smile to my face when we won to the surprise of the other schools who had not heard of TCNJ, but now know we are force to be reckoned with. The students who represented TCNJ are an exemplar of the many ambitious and determined students at TCNJ. Go Lions!”
Participating students included, Emily Bowen, Justin Figueroa, Austhon Manalac, Matthew Nisi, Victoria Presser, and Alden Racz.
“The competition itself was an amazing experience. AT&T has proved that they place immense value in attracting and developing talent,” said Emily Bowen ’19, PSE President. “Winning was a bonus- this competition was the first of its kind and I’m excited that we were able to represent TCNJ and showcase our abilities!”
